Repetitive stress injuries are neuropathic conditions caused by doing the same thing over and over again. It’s not just typists and cashiers getting carpal tunnel syndrome. RSIs, as they are called, happen to truckers, snowmobile plant workers, turkey processers, electronics assemblers, even musicians and athletes. The outcome of repetitive motion injuries are severe pain and curtailed function.
The most common RSIs include:
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)
Rotator cuff tendinitis
Martin E Goff we represent people who have suffered damage from performing the same task repetitively, damage that threatens to end their careers. Sometimes the condition requires surgery, which the worker cannot afford. Sometimes, the surgery has occurred, but it is still impossible to perform basic work tasks.
We also assist workers afflicted with RSI in applying for At Social Security Disability. To qualify as a disability, your RSI must last for a year or more, and it must prevent you from doing any work at all — your previous job or any job.
Not every firm has the experience or understanding of RSIs to make your case effectively. If you have been seriously injured on the job or in an accident, you may be entitled to compensation.
